Problem solving
On the newspaper collage the image came up a bit faded and it doesn't stand out Next time I would use a brighter colour which will be eye-catching and stand out, so I have a contrast between the collage and the drawing.
Problem solving
To avoid missing nail I had to shake the bowl more, so the plaster goes in all the little empty spaces. If I would done that the sculpture would have a smooth texture instead of being a bit rough. I made it smooth by using a scalpel and cutting all the excess.
Problem solving
When transferring the leaves onto the synthetic textile with the iron, the patterns came out faded and didn't stand out. It might be because of the temperature of the iron isn't as higher as the temp. of the heat press. To make it stand out and be eye-catching I have painted the leaves with the transfer paint, put directly on the textile, cover with the newsprint and iron again. I have got amazing details and bold colours.
Problem solving
AS you see in the first picture my image was underexposed(too dark). The reason is that the lid of the camera was too big and was covering the pinhole. I had to cut a strip out of lid so I can easily move it clockwise. I exposed the camera for 10 secs outside and then turn the lid so it covers the pinhole. Finally, my image was good and you can observe its details and bold contrast.
